Well, what a festival. Coming back from the covid-induced break and with lots of other events on for the platty joobs it was more difficult than usual to predict how much beer & cider we’d need. But, come back – or maybe, visit for the first time – you did, and thank you to all of you. We hope you enjoyed the event. Pop the dates for our next festival, the winter edition, in your diary now – 25th to 28th January 2023 at Colchester Arts Centre.

Lots of you voted for your favourite beer or cider of the festival. The spreadsheet wranglers have been hard at work and the results are now in. We’re delighted to announce that Caps Off Milk Stout was your choice for beer of the festival, unsurprisingly since it sold out almost as soon as it was on! In the cider department Mill Lane Medium Dry took the honours by a huge margin. Congratulations to brewer and producer, certificates will be in the post.
