The Beer Festival takes place in Colchester Arts Centre, close to the Town Centre. The Arts Centre is a beautiful deconsecrated church situated just off Head Street in the heart of the town centre. Amongst its claims to fame is that the church’s tower is the original source of the “Humpty Dumpty” nursery rhyme.
